A new online tool answers the question nobody asked: how long until you can afford the only copy?
A calculator at afford.dad-look.com tells visitors how long they would need to save to buy Dad, Look – I Wrote A Book!, assuming they work 40 hours a week and spend nothing.
A barista would need 32 years. A Danish pensioner would need 60. Elon Musk, based on a rough guess of how fast his fortune grows, would need six minutes. A cat would need forever, because "cats are funded, not paid".
The calculator has been used 5 times. The longest wait so far is listed in its "hall of shame".
