Reddit reacts to one-copy book: "It's an ad"
The author posted his book to several subreddits. Reddit had opinions. He was banned from several of them.
Seoud set out to make "something for every subreddit I follow". The most common response was "It's an ad", followed by "It's AI".
One reader cracked a cipher the author had made in under an hour and called it "a very boring code sadly". Another said: "I dont care about your book."
The author documented every reaction on a Reddit Hate Tracker, which has been viewed 4,139 times. He was later banned from several subreddits that do not allow promotion, and moved to Threads.
